Wildlife Haven Celebrated At Hatch Pond
| Borough of Poole is highlighting some of the rare and special creatures living at Hatch Pond Nature Reserve with a newly installed interpretation board. The aim of the board is to raise awareness amongst local residents about the amazing wildlife that can be enjoyed right on their doorstep.
The Nature Reserve is situated within Poole’s urban area, between some of Poole’s largest industrial and housing estates and in close proximity to a major dual carriageway, making the rich array and diversity of wildlife on the site truly unique.
Hatch Pond Local Nature Reserve is in Canford Heath West and can be accessed from Hatch Pond Road or Stinsford Road. |
